One of the difficult things as an early-stage founder would be hiring, whether we need to find a co-founder or founding teams.
Whenever I joined a hashtag#startup, I often met hashtag#founders who hired bad apples as their founding teams and burnt lots of cash. One sad thing is sometimes the founders are bad apples.
Assuming that we are just fine apples, how can we find or convince nice yet better apples to join us?
The best way to reach out is simple: you need to let them know why you are the best to work with, of course, you can’t match their expectation in terms of salary. then you need to think about why on earth they will join your team and work like a founder.
Often founders only care about investors but overlook how important it is to build their founding team. If we can’t make it, no matter how much you raise, they will be gone.
