Are U Ok Singapore Startups

Sometimes I think Singapore’s startup system may be in danger(?) than other countries.

As I worked at several startups as CTO, and occasionally received calls from unknown recruiters. (now I don’t pick up any calls if I don’t know the number)

They would simply ask my current salary and suggest applying for a senior engineer position that required 3 to 5 years of experience. LOL I had that role around 20 years ago.

Some people don’t understand how startup (salaries) works or why we burn our life here. I specifically listed my title as Co-founder on my profile. But they still didn’t understand what that meant.

One guy even told me that ’equity is worthless, so would you be interested in considering this role?'.

Of course he is right but if anyone wants to get a job, they will apply that role?
